With England's demolition job of India and the triumphant ascendancy to the number one ranking many pundits are pondering whether this is the greatest England cricket side of them all.
We're not sure about that - Peter May's side of the 1950s and Raymond Illingworth's team of the late 1960s and early 1970s would be two viable alternatives. In any case this side will need to dominate for some time before 'best ever' accolades can be handed out.
