Drop the guy who averages late 40s in Test cricket and who last time Sri Lanka visited reverse swept the highest Test wicket-taker in history for 6 and got all the spectators buzzing. Good one. Flower is no fool, Pietersen is playing because he's integral to England's aim of becoming Test number 1.

I'd totally agree with you there Ed. I saw the picture and couldn't resist a bit of satire. Let's hope KP can get a hundred this morning and set up another Cardiff style heist by the England bowlers
