I had a great time sharing KP’s Ashes Diary with you all over the winter, so it's doubly awesome to be able to bring you my Summer of Cricket diary on The Reverse Sweep over the coming months.
I really love the English cricket season. It’s great how the warm-up acts like Cooky start proceedings off in early April, with those just below the A-List like Trotty, Jimmy, Belly and Tremlett entering the fray this week.
That just leaves the real cricketing celebrities like me, Straussy and Swanny to make our big entrance next week.
First up is a huge one - Cambridge MCCU at Fenner’s. I’ll bet there will be a massive crowd to see me. Everyone loves KP.
No doubt, the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be there as well – they’re big friends of mine, didn’t you know. Maybe I can share a lift up with them from Chelsea?
PS: Does anyone know how Surrey have started off the season by the way?
Where next?
KP's Ashes Diary: 11th January - The urn needs some bling
KP's Ashes Diary: 5th January - Don't blame me, blame David Hasselhoff
KP's Ashes Diary: 2nd January - It was KP that won it...
