I think there has to be a real chance that Ravi will be leap-frogged now by the likes of Hildreth, Taylor and Samit Patel.

The Reverse Sweep

It must have been a hard knock for Ravi to take after giving up the IPL and impressing for Essex so far this season. You could be right as Taylor is clearly a batsman who should have a long test career in front of him. Samit is an intersting proposition, but if he can continue to improve his fitness, who knows. I still feel that Ravi will come into the reckoning, although he should continue to improve his bowling in order to give him something extra to most of his other competitors.
