Harris will only turn 21 in May, but has already played 48 first-class matches and was the leading light in Glamorgan’s attack last summer with 63 championship wickets at just 20.52.
Whilst his bowling is by far his strongest suit, Harris can also bat and has a useful first-class average of just under 20.
Although England’s seam current bowling stocks look plentiful, Harris is probably not too far off recognition and has certainly performed well for the Lions on the frequent occasions he has been selected.
After a winter of discontent, Glamorgan will be relying on Harris to carry their attack, but from past history this is something Harris will probably take in his stride.
