Rashid was one of our 12 to watch in 2010, and put the disappointment at his treatment by England over the previous winter to once again impress with bat and ball for Yorkshire, scoring 732 championship runs at 46 and 57 wickets at 31.
Leg-spinners are like fine wines in that they get better and better with age, so expect 23 year old Rashid’s upward curve to continue in 2011. He will certainly be integral to Yorkshire’s hopes of lifting the title.
Rashid’s belated call-up for World Cup duty showed that he is still in the England selectors thoughts, and with the limited overs sides entering a rebuilding phase, the Yorkshire leggie will surely receive more international recognition in 2011 should he repeat the performances of last summer.

6-77. On an opening day, in April, at Worcester. We'll take that.
Is there a CC commentator that isn't watching Adil Rashid? No-ones even watching to see what he's capable of anymore so much as trying to work out why England won't pick him.
