Haven't commented much of late but can't resist taking a dig. Surely every England cricket fan should dream of winning & not just retaining the Ashes :P
PS: I was rooting for England to retain the Ashes but not winning the series :)

Yesterday was just the beginning Mahek. We'll win in Sydney then we'll be after the number one spot! Although given India's recovery from Centurion, that could prove to be a very difficult task.

You know we're going to scoff at your #1 ranking if you get it without beating us in India, don't you? Not that it will come to that next year because we're not going to lose in England :)

Fair point Mahek - and with the batting line-up you currently have, I can't see England winning in India, but it could be a different story next summer in England!
Seriously though, if India can avoid series defeats in SA, England and Australia in the next 12 months, they will be the undisputed number one side.
