Imagine the years to follow with both Bradman and Jackson in the Aussie side! What a sad roll of events, huh?

The Reverse Sweep

Dreadfully sad Sid - it just goes to show the difference between then and now in terms of healthcare and the virtual eradication of TB from the developed world at least. To die at 23 - how terrible.

Jackson could have been a great player and the Aussie side which already had batsmen like Bradman, Ponsford, McCabe, Woodfull and co. would have looked even more stronger.
