Patricia

Yes, Ramps is having a good season - by the standards of most players, but he has troubles of his own and isn't having the sort of spectacular season we are used to seeing. I believe that his brilliance in recent seasons has masked Surrey's decline and unwise decisions by coaches have led to the shedding of some sound professionals.

The Reverse Sweep

Thanks for the comment Patricia. I suppose Ramps is averaging closer to 50 than 100, so it is a bad season by his high standards! But I completely agree with you on the reasons for Surrey's decline. Instead of being the Man Utd of cricket, they are more like Leeds Utd!
