I swear to God I'm going to bring down the whole city when Messi scores in this World Cup. Also hoping for a Spain-Argentina final, although for that to be a possibility the Spaniards have to finish second in their group.

The Reverse Sweep

Messi is out of this world. Best player since the maestro Maradona himself. Good point about a Spain-Argentina final. I'll take Spain to beat Chile, which unless the Swiss score a lot of goals against Honduras means that Spain will probably top the group and play the Argies in the S/F. Maybe England can get through the other half then and face the winners in the final!!!!!!

England are in the same half. They'll have to go through Germany and Argentina before they meet Spain, assuming Argentina and Spain make the quarters and semis respectively.

I'm waiting to see which England player will follow in the footsteps of Stuart Pearce and Gareth Southgate. Can you tell I don't like the England side? :D

The Reverse Sweep

I like the England side Mahek (even if I don't care for most of the players), but I fully expect a defeat on penalties to the Germans!
