There was a good interview with Jimmy Anderson on The Times website yesterday in which he talks of the dangers of too much Twenty 20, his disappointment on being benched for the World T20, guitar lessons from Graeme Swann and his belief that Matt Prior would have stopped the infamous shot that Robert Green let slip through his fingers against the USA. As interviews with cricketers go nowadays, it's a fairly interesting read - check the story out here.
But the most revealing part of the story was Anderson's assertion that he is the best dressed of the England squad:
“Maybe I am best dressed among the squad, but it’s not that difficult. There are a few disasters in there. I’m not into caps with lots of diamonds on them, like KP"
We're not fond of diamonds either especially as Mrs Reverse Sweep loves them and that means the precious stones cost us a lot of our hard-earned cash. But all the same, Jimmy we are not sure that the following picture is one of sartorial elegance even if Broady's bat does have the Boss logo on it.
My eyes!!! My EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
