Testing testing...this seems to be working - was going to comment on this post at the time but wouldn't let me in then either.

I know what you mean about a bowler of Bres's type opening and what it says about seam bowling in England right now. But I do quite like him in a way I certainly don't like Barbie. He has the right attitude for a good bowler and he does seem to be coping with conditions. Can't really comment more as am listening to the radio - but he does seem to be getting a bit of swing with the old ball, always good on the sub continent whatever the competition.

Thanks for the comments. Ive nothing against Bres. He is a workhorse, but lacks the talent to play test cricket let alone open the bowling. But Id take him over Luke Wright anytime. I guess by Barbie you mean Broady!!
